The entrance and car park is situated on Braithwell Road - opposite Maltby Comprehensive School. On entering the building, please make your way to the 1st floor (there is a lift if required).  Look for the sign above one of the doors which says:  'Rotherham Community Health Services’ and take a seat in the waiting area; the nurse will call you when it is your turn.

How to get to the The Rotherham Community Health Centre 

Please note that parking facilities at the Rotherham Community Health Centre are for patients only. 

 

TRAVELLING BY RAIL (takes approx 5-10 minutes to walk from the Railway Station to the Rotherham Community Health Centre)

If you are travelling by rail, you should:- 

-       Exit Rotherham Central Railway Station and turn right - then cross the road

-       Walk along Greasbrough Road (past Bridge Inn public house) towards the dual carriageway - you will see the RCHC across the dual carriageway 

-       You need to continue along the pavement and take the pedestrian crossing across the dual carriageway 

-       Cross the dual carriageways, via the pedestrian crossings, and then veer left and follow the path around to the RCHC (grey building)

       

FROM MOTORWAY

FROM SOUTH:

 

M1 (North) Exit at Junction 35 (A629 Rotherham)

Take 3rd exit off roundabout onto A629 Rotherham                                                    

 

FROM NORTH:

 

M1 (South) Exit at Junction 35 (A629 Rotherham)

Take 1st exit off roundabout onto A629 Rotherham                                                    

 

USING M18

After passing Junction 1 of M18, branch left and follow signs for M1 North (signposted Sheffield, Leeds)

 

Exit M1 at Junction 35 (A629 Rotherham)

Take 3rd exit off roundabout onto A629 Rotherham 

     

DIRECTIONS FROM M1

From M1 follow signs for A629 (Rotherham)

Continue along the A629 – you should pass the following landmarks:-  

 

Texaco Petrol Station (left-hand side)

                                    The Sportsman Pub (left-hand side)          

                                    Grange Park Gold Club (right-hand side)

                                    The Effingham Arms Pub (left-hand side)

                                     Co-operative Supermarket (right-hand side)

                                     Drawbridge Pub (right-hand side)

Continue until you come to a roundabout.  Take 2nd exit (A629 – Rotherham/Parkgate – New Wortley Road)

Continue forward until you come to next roundabout Take 2nd exit (A629 – Rotherham/Parkgate – New Wortley Road).  Keep in the left-hand lane as you approach the next roundabout 

At next roundabout (College Road Roundabout)  take the 2nd exit onto A630 (Doncaster)

Continue along this dual carriageway (you will see the Rotherham Community Health Centre and Bailey House on your left-hand side) then move over into the outside lane.  Continue straight ahead through the set of traffic lights and at the next roundabout (St Ann’s Roundabout) take the 4th exit (you should be coming back along the same dual-carriageway but in the opposite direction)

As you go past the back of Rotherham Interchange (bus station - located on the left-hand side) ensure you are in the inside lane.  Take the next turn off the dual carriageway (signposted 'Interchange Multi-Storey Car Park/Railway Station') and at end of slip road, turn left and go up the ramp into the Multi-storey car park
